Faster loading agendas!

We’ve rolled out a big update today that cuts the load speed on large agendas by up to 70%!

We noticed that some agendas started taking longer and longer to load. Uncomfortably long. This long load time happens when the agenda has hundreds of items and comments on them, because each item and comment needs to be rendered on the initial load, or re-rendered if the parent item was edited or reacted to.

Generally these slow agendas are found in meetings that have run for a very long time (e.g. a weekly meeting that has rolled for a year) and has tabled items with many child items like comments or todos. If you have an agenda like this, you can speed up your load times by closing off the heavily commented agenda item and creating a new agenda item that summarizes all the past discussion.
